A critical portrait of our CEO President. Well written, respectful, insightful.

Another nail in the coffin of the mainstream media.

Hannity writes with clarity, examining history's recent tyrants and other evils. Chilling.

Senator Miller blends the bitter facts of his party's meltdown with snippets of his life story. Engaging, hard-hitting. A must for your still-Democrat friends.

tinypink

Jimmy Carter's post-presidential meddling is exposed in fine fashion, suggesting a sickening and supremely dangerous model for ex-Democrat presidents.

You'll find it all here -- pundits, politicians, talkers, media, etc. An excellent and completely useful read for all conservatives.

Movies:

George C. Scott earned an Oscar for this bravura performance. A patriotic movie to stir your soul.

I'm always amazed at James Cagney's engaging performance as patriotic showman George M. Cohan. Who knew? He does it all here -- sings, dances, and of course acts with all his heart. He won his only Oscar. And well-deserved it was, too.

Audie Murphy couldn't be better as the Civil War soldier in John Huston's classic production. Courage and duty triumph here, too.

Quote of the Day:

Welcome

Thanks for stopping by to check out the Type Righter page. It's always evolving, always changing -- but today this is what I'd like to share with you.

In the post-election glow of the President's decisive election mandate, let the pundits babble about numbers and strategy.

The decency, honesty, and outstanding leadership of President Bush earned him my vote. The Bush-bashing that went on for months may have embittered him, but he never showed it. He energized his supporters by not returning the vitriol he faced from the elitist media. He stood up every day and did his best for this country. His traditional American values, his earnestness, and lack of pretention contrasted sharply with his opponent. Most Americans saw this and respected him for it.

Bush has the common touch and that resonates with ordinary Americans. Period. We love him because he is "one of us." Despite the many advantages he had while growing up, it never went to his head. Americans appreciate a man who is not too full of himself, who is flawed, who loves his family, his country, and his God. We know that when he speaks he means it.

Congratulations Mr. President! God bless you and our great nation!

Principles

I believe the strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person's dignity; freedom, ability and responsibility must be honored.

I believe in equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, creed, sex, or disability.

I believe free enterprise and encouraging individual initiative have brought this nation opportunity, economic growth and prosperity.

I believe government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn.

I believe the proper role of government is to provide for the people only those critical functions that cannot be preformed by individuals or private organizations and that the best government is that which governs least.
